Northrop is a nonprofit at the University of Minnesota that cultivates the intersections between performing arts and education for the benefits of all participants. On April 4, 2014, the University of Minnesota unveiled Northrop and welcomed the community to the revitalized Northrop for the first time in over three years. The Grand Reopening Gala revealed a beautiful building renovation, as well branding to reflect the multifaceted nature of the organization.
As a designer at Northrop, I had the opportunity to promote events. We designed social media graphics, digital and print ads, billboards, banners, posters, and more. We collaborated on a new website for the grand reopening, and partnered with students in campaigns such as “Push for Art” to introduce them to the new Northrop. I sourced and presented new uniforms for our event staff, and illustrated a guide to support our brand.
